I helped my s-in-law knit this frock for my daughter when she was studying in the nursery school…. and incidentaly completed it just before Christmas…in time for the Christmas Party held at her school that year. There was a matching cap and a pair of socks as well to go with this..and she simply LOVED this Little Miss Claus costume 😀 😀 😀
Later she made it almost a ritual….to wear this dress on Christmas EVERY YEAR!!!…… until she outgrew it… 😦
Now, when she starts lamenting that she can no longer fit herself into this dress… I know Christmas is just round the corner
She can’t think of ANYTHING beyond Santa, elves, reindeers and……(what else???…any guesses???…lol) …GIFTS!!! 😀 😀 😀
Since she has ALWAYS been a “nice” child , “Santa” has duly rewarded her with loads of gifts every year. 😀 😀 😀
During the past years, I would ask her to write a letter to “Santa” in which she could enlist all the gifts that she wished from him…. I HAD to make things slightly easier for “Santa”, didn’t I?… ;)….
On the Christmas eve, he is on his way to our house…his sleigh is already packed with the gifts he wants to deliver to all the Nice children , including our daughter…
our daughter has now changed her mind!!! Instead of the “Kitchen Set” she wanted until now, she would rather have the “Doctor’s Set”!!!
Now Santa WANTS to change the gift and give to her only what SHE wants…but darn it!!…this is gonna make him late!!!…LOL
So, to avoid him this dilemma(?..lol), we should write to him and tell him our wish list, well in advance… 😀
Sensible practice, isn’t it??? 😉
