My Deepest Condolences

…….to my friend Sangeeta and her husband Arvind,

who lost their beloved daughter Mithi on 31 Dec, 2009

Mithi’s jouney with you was very short. Like a butterfly, she lighted besides you. Her beauty belonged to your world. But then it flies again.To be free from the sufferings of this world in general and …..Fredrick’s Ataxia in particular….

Free at last.

Alhough this is against the supposed natural order of things that children should outlive the parents. And yet, this is not the way things happen always. A time like this is enough to make us challenge our faith. No one can understand why the Loving and Benevolent God could let so much suffering happen to those so innocent and whose life has hardly begun. And yet, these are the very times when we need to cling on to our faith as best as we can.

I pray that your faith will help you through this very difficult time and help you to know that God’s purpose, whatever it may be, is at work. God does not test people who do not have the courage to pass the test. I pray that you will find the strength to get you through your grief and sadness

With Prayer, blessings and sympathy
May God’s Grace strengthen you
May your heart and soul find peace and comfort

She’s in a better place right now
Than she’s ever been before;
All pain is gone; she’s now at rest;
Nothing troubles her anymore.

It’s we who feel the burden of
Our sadness and our grief;.
We have to cry, to mourn our loss,
Before we get relief.

We know we’ll reconnect with her
At the end of each life’s road;
We’ll see her cherished face again
When we release our earthly load.

One Response to My Deepest Condolences

  1. You’ve expressed yourself so very well Amrita. This is my first visit to your blog, and although I don’t know them, with your expressions, I too express my deepest condolences to them.

    I too believe Mithi is at a better place now.
